Students at Charles D. Owen Middle School are getting into the Halloween spirit with a fun pumpkin experiment at their after-school science club. According to the clubs advisor, Brittany Krasutsky, this week students carved pumpkins then lit them up with a solution of boric acid to demonstrate exothermic reactions.
